One word photo challenge: drought

In this week’s one word photo challenge ‘drought’ I would like to share a photo of the Nazca lines in the Peruvian desert.

Nazca lines are a series of ancient geoglyphs in the Nazca desert. You can find a range of different figures like the hummingbird, spider, monkey, fish, shark, orcas, lizards, tree and others. Archeologist have studied the Nazca culture to find out what the purpose of the lines are. It is still a mystery but stories exist.

If you are in Peru, it is definitely worth a visit, especially if you are brave enough to fly over it.
