Happiness guaranteed when following your heart and do things you believe in

We all have our own core values we stand for. Some of us might not be aware of it but your subconscious will know. People follow their believes and values. Doing what we believe in brings a sense of contentment and happiness.

The minute we do the opposite makes us feel sad and unhappy, maybe even angry at ourselves. So, why do we do that then?

It depends on your situation. In a job you might be forced to do something which is against your values you stand for. It might make you upset and unhappy in your job environment and you may think you don’t have any other choice. Well, you do have a choice. Life is made of the choices you make. You are responsible for your life.

If your love life is concerned, your negative self talk or fear to experience something bad is making you do things which are different from what you want or desire and believe in. You hopefully realise your behaviour before it is too late. Stop for a second and observe your patterns. Are you actually doing what you believe in and dream of or are you behaving in an opposite way to sabotage yourself? Fix it; make sure your actions mirror your believes and your goals. Follow your heart, your heart is your instinct. You can trust your heart, it is you. Your heart is not playing games with you.

Follow your heart and do the things you believe in to live a fulfilled life. Happiness is achieved if your actions are in line with your believes.

‘There can be no happiness if the things we believe in are different from the things we do.’ – Freya Stark

  1. I like the part “Life is made of the choices you make.” Completely agree with you. I have had a situation when my job wasn’t connected with my values and beliefs. So, I had to quit it and did it without a second thought. Thanks for sharing!
