Have you ever wondered why some people are just successful and seem to achieve all of their goals and others never make it and are depressed and sad?
The reason is your mindset. The minute you say that it is all too hard, you have not deserved it or you won’t be able to make it is sabotaging negative self talk. Stop right here.
Do what successful people do, think positive. They also experience things they are not happy with or proud of but the difference is they don’t hang on to it. They let go and move on and remember only the positive in each situation. When you think about it there is always an opportunity for you to learn.
You too can train your brain to be more positive. Write down each little positive thing you have experienced during the day. Surely someone told you that you did a great job or you look beautiful or whatever it is. Store it in your head. The minute you realise that you are just about to start your sabotaging self talk, remember the positive things you have experienced and keep going. Open your mind and you will see new and more opportunities knocking at your door.
If something unpleasant happened, take it as a lesson to be learned from and move on. Forget about it and remember the lesson you can take out of it. Set your goals and go for it. Successful people make mistakes but the difference is they don’t give up and don’t analyse it multiple times. Never project your past bad experience to the future. If you do, you signed up for failure already. It is a bad vicious cycle. You are the only one who can change it; change your mindset to what you want to achieve, believe in it and work hard for it. Never give up.
