Inspirational quote of the week – You are the creator of your own life

inspirational quotes

Hello everyone. This week’s inspirational quote is:

Nobody can do anything to us. We have to do it ourselves. – Ralph Smart.

This inspirational quote is a great reminder that we are the creator of your own life. We chose what we have in our life and if we let other people run over us or control us. We can make a choice to say yes to ourselves, to stand up for ourselves and to follow our dreams.

It sounds easy, right? I get it, it’s not as easy as is sounds. Some of us might feel being a victim and this is just the life for you. Or we feel not confident and secure enough to stand up for ourselves. We might feel, we need to look after our loved ones or other people in your life first and you are just not a priority? We keep living a life which is not meant to be for us, but we don’t know what to do?

If that sounds familiar to you, then I tell you, these limiting beliefs stem from your subconscious programming of not feeling good enough, not being worthy, doubting yourself or you are not important.

If we keep believing this, we are stuck and keep attracting the same situations over and over again. There are powerful ways of transforming these limiting beliefs into empowering beliefs which help you manifesting exactly the opposite, the great things in life. Are you curious about what your disempowering beliefs are and how to turn these into empowering beliefs, so you can attract anything you want?

I have some great news for you: I offer a complimentary Breakthrough session for you. A Breakthrough Session is an impossible-to-fail, relaxed conversation over the phone. It involves a series of questions designed to uncover the challenges you’re experiencing and what might be stopping you or slowing you down from living the dream of your life. It is a completely non-judgemental process by which you leave inspired. By the end of the 30 minutes, we will both know whether entering into a coaching relationship is the next best step for you and if we are a fit for one another.

Here’s what you will discover in your session

  • uncover what’s been stopping you, slowing you down or keeping you from finding your true purpose in life
  • uncover what’s been holding you back or slowing you down from living your life of your dreams right now
  • develop a powerful vision for what living a fulfilled life means for you and for your life
  • discover which habits and beliefs are holding you back from having the life you dream of and living on purpose…and what to do about it
  • get crystal clear on a step – by step plan to find your true soul’s purpose, becoming successful and living a fulfilled life in 90 days or less.

This is a 30 min complimentary session.

I currently offer one highly-effective 90-day Intensive Programs as described below. It involves weekly one-on-one coaching by phone, in which I will share some more details of my system during our Breakthrough Session. As featured on my home page, my clients have had incredible results with this.

One Love, one heart, one destiny

What a beautiful quote from Bob Marley. What does this mean? I guess everybody has their interpretation. I can only tell you what I believe.

One Love: I think you can be in love more than once, but there will only be one person you truly love and feel connected to. This person is meant to stay in your life forever. If you have found that special someone, hold onto him or her.

One Heart: You only have one heart. Your heart is your personality, what you love doing and what makes you. It is simply you. Treat yourself well. You can give your heart away to the ones you love but always remember to love yourself and treat yourself well and with respect. You only have one life.

One Destiny: Events are happening in your life which you don’t have control over. It is the hidden power believed to control what will happen; it is fate. However, you also have a choice to create your destiny to a certain extent. Believe in the good things in life and believe in everything will work out in the end. Your actions will pick your fate. The destiny is yours and is for nobody else. Only you will meet certain people in your life, walked that particular path and chose the roads ahead of you. You made mistakes, you were successful, and the relationships you had or still have been only yours. Nobody else will have the same destiny like you.

Everybody is very special.

“One love, one heart, one destiny.” – Bob Marley

Can you also see the love heart shape in the wave crashing at the rocks? I always see myself looking at the sky or things in nature and try to recognise a shape. It is definitely fun to do.

The christmas season in Sydney – part 3

xmas tree

Did you know that the christmas tree in the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney took 102 people in 44 hours to bring to life? The tree weighs 6.5 tonnes; 65,150 lights that sparkle bright and 82,000 crystals that shine day and night? The Swarovski Christmas Tree is 24 metres tall. The impressive 2 metre crystal studded star sits at the top of the tree for all to wish upon.

I decided to take a different crazy angle of the tree.

“My idea of Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern, is very simple: loving others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that?”
― Bob Hope

Each big city has its own version of a christmas tree. Sydney has an interactive christmas tree in Martin Place every year. It is not just a visual spectacle for people to see but you can actually jump on an interactive dance pad, text or tweet your message to a certain telephone number or #sydxmastree. Your message will then be displayed as text on the tree’s decoration.

Happy christmas to everyone

Key to happiness

“As human beings we all want to be happy and free from misery; we have learned that the key to happiness is inner peace. The greatest obstacles to inner peace are disturbing emotions such as anger, attachment, fear and suspicion, while love and compassion and a sense of universal responsibility are the sources of peace and happiness.” – Dalai Lama

Why to enjoy each moment in your life

Enjoy each moment in your life. You never know what happens tomorrow. It could be too late and you don’t want to be in the position where you regret your decision not to have done anything because you were not sure or you were scared of the future. Overcome your fears and don’t worry about what other people or your friends think. Just do it and do it anyways if you feel good about it. Listen to your heart. It is your life in the end and you are the one who needs to enjoy it. Do what you love doing and go with the flow.

In case things haven’t worked out the way you hoped for, don’t worry, something much better is waiting for you. Never regret decisions made in the past, you cannot change it but you can do something in the now. You have nothing to lose, you only gain experience and you might have just learned an important lesson in life.

If you see an opportunity right in front of you, go and grab it, it is meant to happen. You might not get the same opportunity again. Don’t wait for all the excuses to kick in – they are just that – excuses! Don’t postpone to tomorrow, tomorrow could be too late.

Enjoy each moment in your life.

Enjoy each moment

one word photo challenge: bridge

In this week’s one word photo challenge I chose the ‘bridge’. A bridge to me symbolises going on a journey to pursue your dreams.

You sometimes don’t know what to expect but you have a goal in mind – the other side of the bridge. In life we might have goals we sometimes start thinking and worrying too much that we might not be able to reach it. Once this is in your mindset this will happen – you won’t reach your goal.

Instead be open minded, get out of your comfort zone and chase your dreams. Don’t give up, stick to your goal, be brave and have the courage to follow your dreams.

“To embark on the journey towards your goals and dreams requires bravery. To remain on that path requires courage. The bridge that merges the two is commitment.”

Why exercising makes you happy

A healthy body makes you feel great about yourself; you feel lots of energy and happiness; whereas a body in a bad condition makes you feel unhealthy, sluggish and tired. Your mood most likely changes to the worst, some might feel even depressed. It is a bad circle you can be in. Let’s break that bad circle.

Go outside and burn some fat or go to the gym and exercise. Do whatever feels good to you. Some people love going for a run, others love lifting weights in the gym or attending gym classes, go dancing or surfing. Get out of your comfort zone and start exercising. If you are new to exercising or you haven’t done it for a while, it probably will be hard in the beginning but stick to it and don’t give up. You will feel healthier soon and you will notice an increased level of energy and fitness. It is a good circle to be in. Exercising, dancing or whatever it is what makes you move, releases lots of endorphins which make you feel happier. Building up more muscles is also helping you in stressful situations. You will sleep better and be more productive at work during the day. When exercising you automatically eat and drink healthier because you don’t want to waste your hard work and spoil it with bad food or soft drinks.

You see, exercising has lots of benefits and the best thing is there are plenty of options available for each budget. If you have the money and you know your discipline is not great, hire a personal trainer or join a boot camp. You don’t have the money to spend on the gym or trainer, no problem, just go outside and do your exercise program. Ok, I can hear another excuse…it is raining…no problem at all, train inside in your house or apartment. There are no excuses if you really want it.

Find a sport you enjoy and go for it, go crazy and live a healthy lifestyle. You will see how good it feels. Get your blood pumping, the body toning and the mind on a high.

one word photo challenge: winter

I was growing up in Germany where winter can get really cold. Winter for me means snow, frozen lakes, being cold and wrapped up with lots of clothes. I am not a fan of that type of winter even though it can look really pretty when it is snowing.

One of the reason why I love living in Australia is that I don’t have to deal with this cold winter anymore. Winter in Australia can look like this, sunny, a bit chilly but not cold compared to Europe. You can walk along the beach and enjoy an early morning without getting too cold.
